Donation of Goods and Services

You may be a singer prepared to offer your services at a charity fundraising event or a business with office furniture or equipment you no longer have use for. Several agencies throughout Kings County rely on the generosity of the community for donated goods and services, also known as “in-kind” contributions, to operate their organization. These donations are extremely valuable and preserve resources for direct community services.

When a donation of goods or services is offered, we provide this information to our affiliate member agencies along with the location of the donation and delivery details. Goods and services are made available on a first-come, first-served basis. Donations of vehicles or large appliances are accepted only if an affiliate member agency is capable of accepting the donation directly.

Kings United Way conducts special projects throughout the year and welcomes your help. Each year, a point in time survey is done to acquire information from the homeless population in our region about their housing and support service needs.
