Kings United Way partners with local businesses to conduct workplace campaigns that allow employees to provide support to local organizations addressing critical needs in our community. Employees may pledge through payroll deduction, provide a one-time gift or set up donations through electronic fund transfers. Donor pledges are distributed through an annual allocation to member organizations who have met strict standards of service and accountability.
Many companies match employee contributions. With a match from your employer, your contribution will have an even greater impact on our community.
United Way staff can assist your business by providing a tool kit to facilitate your work place campaign. The tool kit includes steps to follow for a successful campaign, sample presentations and ice breaker activities to encourage audience participation. For more information on starting a work place campaign, please contact Tom Hernandez at TomH@kingsunitedway.org.
The Combined Federal Campaign is designed to give federal employees the option of supporting local, national and international organizations through one time pledges and/or workplace payroll deduction. The CFC is the only authorized solicitation of federal employees. Each CFC is managed by the Local Federal Coordinating Committee (LFCC) comprised of local federal employees who provide leadership and oversight of the campaign. For more information regarding the Combined Federal Campaign, please visit www.ktcfc.org or www.kimcfc.org.
