The Walmart Foundation has announced an opportunity for Kings County “fans” to help support the community and win a portion of the $2 million in grants for hunger relief in the new Facebook challenge.
Starting April 9 through April 30, people can cast their vote on the Fighting Hunger Together Facebook site. The community with the most online support will receive $1 million in grants and the next twenty communities with the highest support will receive $50,000 each to help fight hunger.
To vote for the Hanford-Corcoran community (which includes Lemoore, Stratford and Avenal) go to

Vote for Hanford-Corcoran and share your vote with your Facebook friends

Come back daily to vote, and get your colleagues/friends/family to vote daily by sharing and encouraging their support
